Maladum: Dungeons of Enveron
Players control a band of adventurers delving into the ancient dungeons of Enveron to recover artefacts, fight off undead Revenant hordes, and interact with a variety of NPCs. The game uses detailed 3D terrain and miniature figures on a modular board and resolves encounters with tactical combat and scenario-driven objectives. Between games, parties return to town where a campaign system tracks fortunes, develops character skills, upgrades equipment, and records the ongoing story.

Rules questions
Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
Can I move a few squares, Search, and then keep moving?
No. A Move action cannot be interrupted unless a rule explicitly allows it; stopping to take another action ends the Move, and unused movement is lost. (Official FAQ, p. 1)
Can I open or close a door while I’m engaged with an enemy?
No. Although opening and closing doors are effortless actions, they specifically cannot be performed while engaged. (Official FAQ, p. 1; Deluxe Rulebook, p. 46)
Do I get a free Stand Up when someone revives me?
No. A revived character is left prone and must spend an action to Stand Up, unless the revival occurs as part of a Rest action, which can include standing up. (Official FAQ, p. 1; Deluxe Rulebook, pp. 30, 33)
If I move away from an enemy, do they get to attack me?
Yes. When a character leaves contact during a Move, each standing, engaged, unfatigued enemy may make a free Melee Attack immediately; if that attack makes the moving character Fatigued or Stunned, their movement ends. (Deluxe Rulebook, p. 23)
Can I Search while I’m engaged, or Search a room that still has enemies in it?
No. A character must be unengaged to Search, and a general room Search also requires that there be no enemies in the room. Each room can be generally Searched only once per quest. (Deluxe Rulebook, p. 28)
Can I shoot an enemy who is in contact with me?
No. Ranged Attacks cannot target characters engaged with the attacker. If you are engaged with another enemy while shooting at a different target, that engaged enemy may make an attack of opportunity after the shot resolves. (Deluxe Rulebook, p. 26)
