This barrier represents a curse that awakens the dead. When examined, it shuffles a random Undead monster from the box into each open location deck. A Dexterity or Charisma 10 check defeats it. If defeated, banish it or display it beside the scenario. While displayed, defeating an Undead monster during an exploration shuffles an item from the box into a random open location deck, then allows another exploration at the current location.
