A magistrate’s expedition arrives in Yokina Tento, the “Happy Tent” village, ruled by the samurai Tensumaru. The settlement proves far from happy when a group of yakuza appears and accuses the villagers of theft. Players investigate the dispute and become involved in the village’s troubles.
