Reavers of Midgard

Reavers of Midgard

Lead a Viking clan on raids and sea battles to earn glory over six rounds. Players place a single worker each turn to recruit Reavers, gather supplies, hire warriors, or launch raids against villages, castles and monsters. Combat uses dice and Reavers provide leadership, rallying and specialization options that shape an engine of crew abilities. Resource and set-collection choices determine which raids are feasible and how powerful each expedition becomes, with scoring driven by successful plunder and battle outcomes.

It's almost a multiplayer solitaire. And if you e.g. can't go for a raid on sea or are not successful by beating a ship, you're losing probably 10-20 VPs. We stopped the game after 4 of 6 rounds, we already played 2 hours. And it was so repetitive and the last 2 rounds would have been the same over and over again. There's too much you can do and you can gain VPs everywhere. What a point salad!
