Sentinels of the Multiverse: Rook City & Infernal Relics

The diverse cast of heroes take the fight against vile criminals, ancient deities, extra-planar elder gods, and dark spirits in the streets of Rook City and beyond. This cooperative card game expansion adds four heroes, eight villains, and four environments, along with new mechanics and challenges. It includes all content from the Rook City and Infernal Relics expansions, divider cards, and a combined rulebook. A copy of Sentinels of the Multiverse is required to play.

Awesome value for your money. Triples the number of villains and doubles the number of environments from the base game, plus four extra heroes. Argent Adept and Nightmist are both very challenging to learn, similar to Absolute Zero, and Mr. Fixer isn't that exciting, so really I recommend this more for the villains and environments. With that said, after putting in the effort, Argent Adept and Nightmist are two of my favorite heroes to play. Argent Adept has amazing versatility and is the most useful and interesting support character to play, if you don't mind playing someone who basically never hits anyone. Meanwhile, Nightmist as all about hand management and does most of her damage and effects through secondary means rather than obvious powers. This makes her really difficult to understand. At first glance, she appears to be like Absolute Zero and hurts herself a lot. The trick is that she doesn't want to hurt herself, and can redirect the damage entirely by discarding cards once you have the right equipment in play. This allows her to do damage on multiple turns during a round, which really adds up. She also has superb healing abilities and deck manipulation, all based on discarding cards which means keeping the right cards in your hand can be a challenging decision.
