A fantasy roleplaying game of adventurers exploring dangerous realms, facing monsters, and pursuing quests. Characters are defined by seven attributes, broad skills, saving throws, alignment, race, class, and profession, with race and class chosen separately. The rules cover hit points, wound recovery, death, magic, poison, and other hazards. Experience comes from surviving sessions, overcoming encounters, roleplaying, discretionary awards, and heroic actions, allowing characters to advance from level 1 to level 10.
