Players take on outsider roles in a cyberpunk, post-apocalyptic setting where a cold AI governs both physical and virtual realms. Gameplay alternates between a modular city map, where players explore locations, fight deadly machines and hostile survivors, and search for files and information, and a virtual map, where hacking actions deploy tracking software, viruses, and one-time bonuses or disrupt opponents. Scenarios support cooperative, competitive, or mixed play, and players pursue individual agendas while forming and breaking alliances; every action can carry strategic costs in both worlds.
