The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – Nightmare Deck: The Dunland Trap
Players face renewed ambushes from Dunlendings in a redesigned Nightmare-mode scenario. New encounter cards introduce enemies and treachery that trigger on card draws, discard drawn cards to force additional draws, and otherwise push the quest back toward the players. Several revised locations provide cover for Dunlending forces, making them harder to damage in the staging area and increasing threat from the encounter deck. The deck integrates with the original scenario by replacing and modifying encounter cards to create a tougher, more punishing sequence of adversaries and hazards.
