The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – The Withered Heath
Players take on the roles of heroes investigating a remote mountain valley where a new draconic threat may be breeding. The scenario presents a campaign-style challenge with a 60-card adventure pack that introduces a new hero and multiple copies of new player cards. Gameplay focuses on deck-driven cooperative card play: players manage hero resources, play allies and events, and progress through an encounter deck filled with treacherous locations, weather effects, and enemy threats. Strategic planning and coordination are required to overcome travel complications and escalating dangers before the threat can spread across the region.
