The Quest for El Dorado: The Golden Temples
Players arrive at the legendary city of gold and begin exploring its ruined temples and treasure-filled chambers. The game plays as a deck-building, hand-management race in which players customize expedition decks to move through modular temple boards, overcome obstacles, and collect gems and artifacts. It functions as a standalone game or integrates with the base expedition and its expansions, allowing combined maps and expanded route options. Rounds consist of playing cards for movement and actions, buying new cards to improve future turns, and racing rivals to reach objectives while navigating varying temple layouts and hazards.
