Ticket to Ride: The Card Game

Players collect illustrated train car cards and secret destination tickets, then use sets of cards to complete routes between cities shown on the tickets. On a turn, cards move from a face-up Railyard to a private On-the-Track stack, and the active player may draw cards, place cards into the Railyard (including locomotive wilds), or draw destination tickets. Placing cards can force opponents to discard matching colors if the placing player exceeds an opponent’s count, creating a “train robbing” interaction. The game ends when the draw deck runs out; completed and uncompleted tickets are scored and big-city bonuses are awarded to players with the most tickets to those cities.
