Each turn, players roll a pool of dice and choose whether to blend those results into scoring recipes for immediate points or to spend dice on research abilities that alter future rolls, scoring methods, or interactions with other players. Blending involves push‑your‑luck decisions: better blends yield more points but degrade dice for later rounds, while research grants persistent, variable effects and opportunities to help or hinder rivals. The game includes semi‑cooperative mechanics that let players share rolls at a cost, producing tight, tactical choices each round.
