War of the Ring: Battles of the Third Age
Adds new peoples, units and siege gear from the Third Age to the base game, including Ents, Dunlendings, Corsairs, Southron cavalry, siege towers and catapults, plus new character figures such as Galadriel and the Balrog. Includes expanded rules and components that integrate with the core grand-strategy game and an additional companion game that recreates the sieges of Minas Tirith and Helm’s Deep on a separate tactical gameboard. Players command the new forces, deploy siege engines, and use the supplemental mechanics to play either integrated strategic campaigns or focused tactical siege battles.
