Warfighter: A Chtorr Special Forces Card Game

Players lead a modern-era Special Forces squad against an invading alien ecology, equipping soldiers with Fire, Cryo (Ice), and Conventional weapons and completing missions across modular encounters. Gameplay uses card-driven squads, weapon and equipment management, and action resolution where weapon type affects combat outcomes: Fire deals high penetration but consumes scarce ammo and destroys bodies; Cryo applies Slow counters that boost follow-up attacks without causing wounds; Conventional weapons trade penetration for many attacks and conserve alien bodies. Field Points reward preserving intact aliens and can be spent mid-mission to unlock skills or buy supplies via Radios. The system streamlines keywords and keeps tactical decision-making, integrating with the core Warfighter series.
