Zoo Tycoon: The Board Game
Players build and manage competing zoos, placing enclosures, attractions, food booths and gift shops to attract guests and generate revenue. Choose from a wide range of species and place animal meeples into appropriate enclosures while meeting each species’ social, space and care requirements. Animal happiness influences breeding and availability of new animals, and an evolving animal market adjusts supply and demand over the game. Balance visitor popularity, educational value and conservation efforts while reacting to small events each round. Final scoring uses the lower of popularity and conservation to determine each zoo’s success.
