Atlantic Sentinels: North Atlantic Convoy Escort, 1942-43
Escort Allied convoys across the North Atlantic during the height of the U-boat threat. Command a group of 4–10 destroyers and corvettes, position escorts around merchant ships, and use radar and other equipment to detect and engage individual U-boats and wolfpacks. Protect as much shipping as possible while destroying enemy submarines. Escort Groups can receive additional ships, radar, HF/DF equipment, and air support as a campaign progresses, with missions ranging from quick convoy actions to a full career.
