Silent Victory: U.S. Submarines in the Pacific, 1941-45

A solitaire tactical game that puts the player in command of an American submarine on Pacific patrols during 1941–45. Players choose from major U.S. Fleet boat types and run successive patrols, hunting Japanese merchantmen and warships, managing attacks, damage, crew quality, and awards while trying to return to base. Gameplay uses a Hunters-derived engine with scenario-driven patrol maps, ship and damage records, captain cards, display mats, dice-driven combat, and resource management to simulate risk versus reward across the war’s progression.
