A wargame covering the major Southern Italian campaigns of the Italian Wars between the late 15th and early 16th centuries. Players command operational-level forces across an expanded map and timeframe, maneuvering armies, conducting sieges, fighting skirmishes and major battles, and managing unit quality, movement and reliability. Scenarios include historical campaigns such as Otranto (1481), the retaking of Naples (1495–96 and 1502–03 with the battles of Cerignola and Garigliano), Lautrec’s 1528 campaign, and a what‑if Charles VIII crusade. The system scales operations to larger areas and longer campaigns, emphasizes planning and interaction, and uses low counter density with detailed orders of battle and a large period map.
