Prisoners attempt to escape a dark castle while encountering Companions who may join their quest. These non-player characters arrive through event cards in the item deck, each bringing a unique combination of traits and a special ability. Companions provide powerful assistance, but their presence may be temporary. Players must decide when and how to use their abilities during the escape.
