Legacy: The Testament of Duke de Crecy
Play as an 18th-century aristocratic head of house working to secure a lasting dynasty in pre-revolutionary France. Over three generations, place workers and play cards to expand a family tableau, arrange marriages, recruit influential friends, obtain titles, build estates and manage income, prestige and social connections. Actions gain and cost resources—dowries, upkeep, bribery and damaged reputation all affect standing—and each spouse and friend card brings distinct traits and benefits. The game emphasizes tableau-building, resource balancing and long-term planning as families grow and intermarry with domestic and foreign nobility.

Evan4.6 Tight game that focuses on building a family tree. It's at it's heart a really tight worker placement game where you have very little time and very few workers with which to complete your tasks. It can be a little random as having children is very important to this game and there is a set of cards randomly in the baby deck that kills the child or mother. Getting one of those early can mean a huge disadvantage for that player, but overall there seem to be ways to make up the points. The thing I find most appealing to this game is the execution of it's theme. I really get into the spirit of things and the idea of having a family tree game in the first place is unique and interesting. ★ Art, Iconography and components functional ★ Clever or interesting mechanisms ★ Reasonably low downtime between turns with mildly AP players ★ Multiple plays stay interesting ★ Low or mitigatable luck elements ★★☆☆☆ Raw enjoyment

Molt combero, es tracta de buscar les combinacions de cartes adequades. Com aquestes es roben de un mazo, sembla que pot tindre massa influencia del atzar. A més, hi han objectius secrets, el que tampoc em convenç.
Rules questions
Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
If I Arrange Marriage, do I use the Marry action now or does it happen later?
Arrange Marriage places a Friend card face-down beside a child now, but the marriage is actually carried out at the beginning of the next Generation when that child grows up — then you follow steps 3–6 of the Marry action (adjust Income/choose Friends, adjust Prestige, resolve special effects, draw a Child) (pages 12, 9).
Can I save Additional Action pawns for later rounds or must I use them immediately?
You may save an Additional Action pawn for later rounds within the same Generation, but each Additional Action pawn is single-use and must be used before the Generation ends (unused pawns are returned to the supply); any pawn used is returned to the supply at the end of the round in which it was used (page 11).
If I take face-up Friend cards and only one remains, do I have to take that last card?
Yes — you can never leave a single face-up Friend card: whenever you take Friend cards and only one remains you must take that last card for free, then replenish the face-up display (page 17).
Do Friends’ special effects trigger more than once or at some later time?
Unless a Friend card explicitly says otherwise, its special effect resolves immediately when the Friend becomes part of your family and is a one-time effect (pages 12, 18).
When do I collect Income and when are Honor points awarded for Prestige and children?
Income is collected in the Income & Cleanup phase at the end of each round (except after Round 9 you get no Income), while at the end of each Generation you gain Honor equal to your current Prestige and plus one Honor per child born during that Generation (page 11).
Can a couple have more than three children, and what happens to children when someone remarries after a Complication?
By default a couple cannot have more than three children; if an original family member loses a spouse due to a Complication they may remarry and their existing children count toward the child limit for the new couple (see Complications and Remarrying rules) (pages 12, 17).
