Mordheim: City of the Damned
Assemble a small warband of fantasy fighters and run skirmish battles in a ruined city setting. Players manage a band of around 1–20 models, develop individual members through experience, purchase equipment, and handle injuries or permanent losses as campaigns progress. Gameplay emphasizes close combat and tactical positioning over long-range shooting, using rules adapted from classic tabletop skirmish mechanics. Campaign results affect resources, warband size and abilities, so victories and setbacks carry long-term consequences across multiple scenarios.

Jesse Murphy3.5 Fun, good mechanics, but expensive and lengthy.
Tom4.1 It's an okay skirmish game, but one that got me interested in the genre. Go ratmen!
