Pillars of Fate

Two players send champions into three parallel lanes by playing cards to complete quests; each lane resolves after both players have played three cards. Quest outcomes grant or subtract points depending on the suits played in that lane, so players can aim to win quests or deliberately lose them to foist negative rewards on the opponent. Each lane includes one face-down card per player to conceal intentions, and asymmetric divine powers provide one-off abilities that alter play. The game runs three rounds, with deduction and timing of powers shaping who accumulates the most points.
