American Tank Ace: 1944-1945

Solitaire tactical game in which the player commands a single Allied tank fighting across Europe in the later stages of World War II. Gameplay begins with crew and commander development during a tank school phase; players spend earned points to buy skills and improve crew members. Battles are resolved against randomly generated enemy forces with limited support from notional friendly units, using maneuver, gunnery, and crew abilities to overcome threats. Progression unlocks newer vehicle models: players may upgrade through a selection of nine Sherman variants and eventually field an M26 Pershing as the campaign advances.
