The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – Nightmare Deck: The Watcher in the Water
An optional expansion that converts the matching cooperative quest into a harder, themed “Nightmare” version. It adds twenty new encounter cards that replace and augment the original encounter deck, plus a Nightmare Mode card that lists removed cards and a rules card with scenario-specific instructions. The content increases enemy difficulty, alters locations, and introduces new treacherous effects that change how players must plan and coordinate during the quest. Designed for use with the base scenario, it is distributed as a print-on-demand supplement.
