Three Days of Gettysburg (Third Edition)

A tactical-level simulation of the three-day battle at Gettysburg that models brigade- and regimental-scale combat, command effects, and morale. Players command Union and Confederate forces across three large hex maps, managing movement, attacks, artillery barrages, ammunition, and unit fatigue while following a revised command system that limits maximum effectiveness and produces variable brigade behavior. Seven scenarios span single-map engagements to the full three-day battle, with brigadiers rated by action profiles, a simple shock table with continuous attack possibilities, and optional rules and simplified line-of-sight procedures. Components include multiple countersheets, revised maps, scenario and rules booklets, player aids, and tracking charts; the game also supports a slimmer “Simple” ruleset for shorter learning curves.
