Heights of Courage: The Battle for the Golan Heights
Simulates the October 1973 campaign on the Golan Heights, tracing fighting from the lowlands up into the Golan peaks. Players command Israeli and Syrian formations at platoon through brigade scale, maneuvering armor and infantry across a hex map where turns represent half-days to several days. Play alternates offensive and defensive phases and features a two-tempo operational mechanic that forces choices between rapid action and slower consolidation to gain replacements. Multiple scenarios cover the initial Syrian offensives, historical short and full campaigns, and alternative plans, while optional rules allow linkage with a companion game covering the Sinai.
