No Retreat! The Russian Front

Two players command opposing strategic forces in the Eastern Front campaign of World War II, directing Army- and Front-sized units across a hex map at a two-month-per-turn scale. Play combines classic hex-and-counter maneuver with a card-driven system: players move and fight with low-stacking counters, resolve combat and encirclements on the map, and trigger off-board Events from a shared hand of cards. Scenarios range from a tournament-sized engagement with 40 counters to the full campaign with 70, and victory can be achieved in multiple ways through territorial gains, attrition, or political/objective conditions. Components include a mounted map, counter sheets, a 55-card deck, scenario and rule booklets, player aids, and two dice.
