War of the Ring Collector's Edition

A two-player strategic wargame set in a high-fantasy world where one side commands the Free Peoples and the other directs the Shadow Armies. Players pursue military conquest by capturing cities and strongholds or a secret quest victory as the Free Peoples by escorting a Ringbearer to Mount Doom while avoiding detection. Play proceeds through action dice that limit and define available actions each turn, forcing choices between character moves, political decisions, and military operations. This edition combines base rules with multiple expansions, adding new factions, characters, events, siege engines and units that expand both offensive and defensive options and introduce additional strategic paths to victory.
